How to Register for an Championship USTA Junior Team Tennis – Team or League(Advancement Opportunity to State, Section, and National Championships)
1) First, players need to Become a USTA Member Here! for as little as($20/yr) or by calling USTA Member Services at 1-800-990-8782. Be sure to write down your USTA Number.
2) Then go to the USTA’s Junior Team Tennis Tennislink Registration Page here, and Enter Your Team ID Number supplied by your coach or the league coordinator “Then Click Enter. (If you don’t have a Team ID Number and need to find a league Click on Find a Program
3) Enter your USTA Membership Number”, the, Click Proceed to Check Outand pay by credit/debit card or eCheck. (League fees vary.)
 How to Register for a (Non-Advancing) Junior Team Tennis – Team or League (USTA Membership Optional)
1)      First go to the USTA’s Junior Team Tennis Tennislink Registration Page here, and enter your Team ID Number supplied by your coach or the league coordinator Click Enter”. (If you don’t have a Team ID Number and need to find a league Click on Find a Program)
2)      You will then be directed to a screen where you will be asked to enter either your USTA Membership Number (Required for Championship Junior Team Tennis Leagues) or Non-Member Team Tennis ID. (Note: The USTA membership requirement for your league is determined by your local league coordinator.)
3)      If you don’t have a USTA Membership Number or Non-Member Team Tennis ID, “Click on Don't have a USTA Member ID?” Join Today! or, Sign up as a Non-Member (This will be you Team Tennis ID Number). Once you have filled out the online form and received either your Non-Member Team tennis ID, or USTA Membership number be sure to write it down.
Now that you have your Team Tennis ID you can nowEnter it where it says “Enter either your USTA Member ID or Team Tennis ID”. Click Proceed to check out and pay. (League fees vary.)

Current Seasons in Maine include the Winter Season January - March and the Summer season June - August.   



USTA Jr. Team Tennis is a grassroots USTA program for boys and girls ages 5 to 18 of all skill levels. The philosophy of the program is fun, fitness, and friends in an environment that stresses sportsmanship and socialization in a team tennis atmosphere.

All leagues are intermediate unless noted as also offering advanced divisions. Leagues with the opportunity to advance to State, Section & National Championships are denoted by (A).

State, Section & National Championships
The Maine State Championships are Held The First Week in August and have traditionally been held in Portland at the Racket & Fitness Center. Section Championships are held in the middle of August and National Championships are held in mid to late October



Please note other local programs may be running in your area. 

Divisions which may be offered include: 8 and Under, 10 and under, 12 and Under, 14 and Under, 18 and Under.   To find or register for league or a team click here  to go to the USTA's Junior Team Tennis Tennislink Web Site.

Other Information:  

Teams must have a minimum of 3 boys & 3 girls play in three team matches, which are recorded on Tennislink in order to qualify for championship play. 

Players must remain age eligible through August 31 of the Championship year to be eligible for advancement opportunities to State, Section, and National Championships.    

The USTA Junior Team Tennis Championship age categories are defined as 18 & under and 14 & under.
